Job summary

Nutek Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a Field Service cum QA Engineer to install, commission, and perform QA checks on automated production machines at customer sites. You will diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, provide remote support when possible, travel locally and overseas for deployments, and work with production and engineering teams to ensure stringent quality before shipment.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Electrical, Software, Mechatronics, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 1 year hands-on field service, QA/QC, or equipment troubleshooting experience.
• Familiarity with industrial control systems and PLC programming (Siemens, Omron).
• Willingness to travel locally and overseas for international projects.
• Strong problem-solving and quality-first mindset.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Installation & Commissioning: On-site installation, setup and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
• Field Service & Troubleshooting: Respond to service calls and diagnose/mechanics/electrical issues to minimize downtime.
• Remote Technical Support: Diagnose and resolve issues remotely via phone, email, and online platforms.
• Quality Assurance: Pre-delivery inspections and testing to guarantee quality before shipment.
• Local & Global Deployment Support: Travel for on-site support, training and troubleshooting.
• Technical Training & Enablement: Provide training and product knowledge sessions to customers and partners.
• Issue Resolution: Investigate feedback, perform root-cause analysis, implement corrective actions.
