Job summary

LABGISTICS Asia Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a Technical Service Engineer to join its Customer Care Division. You will provide technical support for customers, conduct site surveys, and supervise installation and commissioning of our products.

The role requires a NITEC in Engineering, a customer service mindset, the ability to read electronic and electrical schematics, and basic TCP/IP knowledge. Fresh graduates are welcome, with standby duties evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

At least a NITEC in Engineering.
Customer Service Orientated mindset.
Able to understand/interpret electronics, electrical and other technical schematic drawings.
Understand basic concept of computer networking/equipment.
Experience in basic setup of TCP/IP and physical connection of network equipment is advantageous.
Independent and self-motivated, with a positive attitude towards learning, and a pleasant personality.
Able to perform standby duty as and when activated (evenings and weekends).
Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

Attend to technical inquiries and provide technical support (installation, maintenance, etc.) for customers in product operation
Perform site survey & manage repair processes to resolve customers' issues
Manage contractors and perform site supervision to ensure properly installation of products
Support installation, commissioning of our products
Up-keeping of technical library for manual and technical drawings
Support in preparing service quotations and service contracts
Generate reports for on-going projects for Supervisor’s review
