Job summary

Talent Trader Group is seeking a hands-on Field Service Engineer to install, commission, and service vacuum systems at customer sites in Singapore. You will diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control faults, interpret drawings, and perform necessary repairs with limited supervision.

Ideal candidates have a Diploma in Electrical/ Electronic/Mechatronics/Mechanical Engineering and at least 2 years of field service experience, preferably in semiconductor equipment or industrial gear.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Min 2 years of field service experience, preferably with semiconductor equipment, vacuum systems or industrial equipment.
• Able to read technical drawings and troubleshoot faults; PLC knowledge is a plus.
• Strong electrical diagnostics and schematic reading; experience with manufacturers, distributors, or service vendors and vacuum pumps is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Perform equipment installation, start-up, commissioning, preventive maintenance, corrective service, and troubleshooting at customer sites.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control faults using drawings, operating data, and test instruments; apply corrective actions.
• Perform or coordinate overhaul, repair, testing, and servicing of vacuum pumps per procedures and competence.
• Coordinate service activities with customers and internal teams; prepare detailed service reports and provide technical info when escalating issues.
• Follow safety and service quality requirements; support junior engineers and attend overseas training for 3–6 months as assigned.
