Job summary

Riello UPS Singapore Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Service Engineer to drive commissioning of new products, service and troubleshoot installed systems, and deliver training to customers and distributors on-site.

The role requires hands-on work with HV/LV systems, reading schematics, and using diagnostic tools. You will join a team that emphasizes safety, quality, and continuous learning, with shift work and potential weekend duties.

Qualifications

• NITEC in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in uninterrupted power system or related industrial setting; fresh graduates welcome.
• Proficiency in reading schematics, using diagnostic tools (Multimeters, Current Clamp), and HV/LV systems.”
• WSQ-Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health in Construction/Process plant/Shipyard preferred.

Responsibilities

he Service Engineer is responsible for the commissioning of new products, servicing & troubleshooting of installed products and customer and distributor training

• - Collaborate work with project teams of Installation & commissioning on site.
• - Perform preventive maintenance activities, cycle parts replacement to minimize downtime.
• - Diagnose and resolve technical faults in transformers, circuit breakers, switchgear, and control systems.
• - Document maintenance activities, incidents, and repairs.
• - Comply with safety protocols (e.g., Singapore Workplace Safety and Health Act).
• - Respond promptly to emergencies and power outages.
• - Stay updated on industry advancements and best practices.

Requirements:

• - Education: NITEC in Electrical/electronic Engineering, Power Engineering, or related field.
• - Experience: 1–3 years in uninterrupted power system or a related industrial setting. Fresh graduates are also welcome to apply.
• - Technical Skills: Proficiency in reading schematics, using diagnostic tools (Multimeters, Current Clamp), and working with HV/LV systems.
• - Certifications: WSQ-Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health in Construction/Process plant/Shipyard in preferred.
• - Physical Ability: Comfortable working in construction, Electrical room, and lifting to 20kg.
• - Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving, teamwork, and communication abilities.
• - Flexibility: Willingness to work shifts and weekends as needed.
• - Class 3 driving license is preferred
