Job summary

Talent Recruitment Pte Ltd is seeking a Service Engineer to install, diagnose, troubleshoot, service and repair Pick & Place equipment for advanced semiconductor packaging. You will lead improvement projects, preventive maintenance, and on-site benchmarking while liaising with customers on technical matters.

You will travel frequently for customer support, work in cleanroom environments, and be available for after-hours standby as required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in the semiconductor industry.
• Experience with semiconductor Pick & Place equipment and epoxy processes.
• Good communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Meticulous, organised, resourceful and able to work independently.
• Willing to work in cleanroom environments at customer sites.
• Willing to support after-hours, weekend or public holiday standby when required.
• Willing to travel frequently for customer support and service assignments.

Responsibilities

• Install, diagnose, troubleshoot, service and repair Pick & Place equipment for advanced semiconductor packaging.
• Lead equipment improvement, upgrades, preventive maintenance, overhaul, modification and repair projects.
• Liaise with customers on technical matters and resolve service issues promptly.
• Monitor equipment performance and provide regular service updates and feedback.
• Support application development, sample evaluation and on-site equipment benchmarking.
