Job summary

TALENT RECRUITMENT PTE. LTD. is seeking a Senior Service Engineer for the semiconductor sector in Woodlands, Singapore. The role focuses on installing, diagnosing, and repairing Pick & Place equipment used in advanced packaging, with leadership in upgrades and maintenance.

You will collaborate with customers, monitor performance, and support on-site benchmarking while traveling to sites as required. A strong engineering background and cleanroom experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of relevant semiconductor industry experience.
• Experience with Pick & Place equipment and epoxy processes.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Willing to work in cleanroom environments and travel frequently.

Responsibilities

• Install, diagnose, service and repair Pick & Place equipment for semiconductor packaging.
• Lead equipment upgrades, preventive maintenance and repairs.
• Liaise with customers on technical matters and resolve issues promptly.
• Monitor equipment performance and provide regular updates.

Job Responsibilities:

• Install, diagnose, troubleshoot, service and repair Pick & Place equipment for advanced semiconductor packaging.
• Lead equipment improvement, upgrades, preventive maintenance, overhaul, modification and repair projects.
• Liaise with customers on technical matters and resolve service issues promptly.
• Monitor equipment performance and provide regular service updates and feedback.
• Support application development, sample evaluation and on-site equipment benchmarking.

Requirements:

• Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in the semiconductor industry.
• Experience with semiconductor Pick & Place equipment and epoxy processes.
• Good communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Meticulous, organised, resourceful and able to work independently.
• Willing to work in cleanroom environments at customer sites.
• Willing to support after-hours, weekend or public holiday standby when required.
• Willing to travel frequently for customer support and service assignments.
