Job summary

capcon singapore pte. ltd. is seeking a field service engineer to perform on-site installation, diagnosis, and repair of semiconductor Pick & Place equipment for Advanced Packaging. You will lead improvement programs, coordinate with customers, and monitor equipment performance on site.

The role requires strong communication, a degree in engineering, and at least 3 years of relevant experience, with frequent travel and willingness to work after hours at customer sites.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in a relevant field.
• Experience with semiconductor Pick & Place equipment and epoxy processes.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Meticulous, organized, resourceful team player.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Willing to work in cleanroom environments at customer sites.
• Willing to work after hours, weekends and public holidays; travel frequently.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• On-site installation, diagnosis, troubleshooting, service and repair of Pick and Place equipment for Advanced Packaging.
• Lead continual equipment improvement programmes, upgrades, preventive maintenance, overhaul, modifications and repairs.
• Liaise with customers on technical matters and provide timely resolutions.
• Monitor and report product performance; update on service requests.
• Support in-house applications development, customer sample evaluation and on-site benchmarking.

• On-site equipment installation, diagnoses, troubleshooting, service & repair of Pick and Place equipment for Advanced Packaging;
• Lead continual equipment improvement programmes, upgrades, preventive maintenance, overhaul, modifications and repair works;
• Liaison with customer on technical matters, responds to complaints, provides time to solutions to resolve customers’ issues for assigned projects;
• Monitors & report the performance of the product, provide regular update and feedback on customer’s service requests;
• Support in-house applications development, customers samples evaluation and on-site benchmarking exercise.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical/Electronic/Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering or its equivalent;
• Semiconductor Pick & Place equipment and Epoxy process knowledge;
• Strong communication and good interpersonal skills;
• A meticulous, organized and resourceful team player;
• A highly motivated individual who works independently with little supervision;
• Able to work in cleanroom environment at customer site;
• May required to work or on standby after office hours, weekends and public holidays;
• Frequent travellings are required;
• At least 3 years of relevant experience.
