Job summary

Adecco Personnel Pte Ltd (Perm) is recruiting for an onsite Equipment Service Engineer with responsibilities spanning installation, preventive maintenance, and routine repairs for semiconductor equipment in Singapore.

You will work independently at Tier I level, assist Tier II activities, and collaborate with engineering teams to resolve issues while ensuring customer satisfaction and compliance with safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Established technical skills to perform a range of day-to-day equipment service and maintenance activities.
• Hands-on experience in equipment installation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.
• Strong customer service orientation with the ability to maintain positive and professional customer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Performs standard service activities independently at Tier I level and supports Tier II activities under guidance.
• Conducts routine preventive maintenance within established timelines and performs quality repairs to ensure equipment reliability.
• Responds to fab-related issues by collaborating with engineering teams and participating in escalation conference calls.
• Supports projects aimed at reducing operational costs and improving equipment uptime.
• Verifies the operational performance and quality of system equipment, providing support to senior engineers when required.
• Applies established diagnostic techniques, technical documentation, and test equipment to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues.
• Identifies process-, software-, and hardware-related system issues through technical training and hands-on experience.
• Takes ownership of customer satisfaction and coordinates technical support plans with customer management.
• Complies with all applicable safety procedures and consistently demonstrates a strong commitment to workplace safety.
