Job summary

SEARCH PERSONNEL PRIVATE LIMITED is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, service and repair analytical and scientific instruments for regional customers from our Kallang base.

You will travel locally and overseas, provide onsite and remote support, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely service delivery while pursuing ongoing training to deepen product knowledge.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical/Electronics, Mechatronics, Chemical Engineering, Instrumentation & Controls or related discipline.
• Exposure to analytical/scientific instruments such as Particle Size Analyzers, XRF, spectroscopy systems or ICP spectrometers is advantageous.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Customer-oriented with good communication and service documentation skills.
• Able to plan work independently and manage multiple service assignments.
• Willing to travel locally and overseas.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of analytical/scientific instruments.
• Provide onsite and remote technical support to customers.
• Diagnose equipment faults and resolve service issues effectively.
• Coordinate technical cases and escalated complex issues when required.
• Maintain accurate service reports, documentation and compliance records.
• Support customer communication and follow up on service matters.
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure timely service delivery.
• Continuously develop product and technical knowledge through training.
• Support operational and business requirements where required.
• Travel locally and overseas to support regional customers.

• Working Days: Monday to Friday
• Working Hours: 9.00AM to 5.30PM
• Salary: Up to $5,000 Basic + Transport Allowance + AWS + Performance Bonus

• Duration: Permanent
