Job summary

Johnson & Johnson MedTech is seeking a Field Service Engineer in Singapore to support Biosense Webster. You will ensure reliability, performance, and uptime of advanced electrophysiology and cardiac mapping technologies, working with healthcare professionals to provide technical expertise, maintenance, and upgrades.

You will partner with customers to deliver an exceptional service experience, train junior engineers, and ensure compliance with quality and safety requirements across the region.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree and 2+ years of experience in biomedical equipment, hospital engineering, medical devices, field service, or related technical disciplines; OR
• Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical, Electrical, Electronics, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and computer-based systems.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site and remote technical support for Biosense Webster products through the Customer Support organization.
• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and upgrade medical equipment within assigned territories.
• Diagnose technical issues, identify root causes, and implement timely corrective actions.
• Respond to service requests, including urgent customer support needs.
• Support preventive maintenance activities and maintain equipment performance and service records.
• Assist in training and mentoring junior Field Service Engineers.
• Build strong partnerships with physicians, nurses, biomedical engineers, and hospital stakeholders.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor and advocate for customer needs.
• Manage customer expectations proactively and drive high levels of customer satisfaction.
