Job summary

WGT EHR PTE. LTD. is seeking a hands-on Field Service Engineer to support installation, commissioning, maintenance and troubleshooting of industrial automation equipment.

You will work with advanced automation systems, robotics and electrical components, providing technical support to customers and ensuring optimal machine performance. This role offers exposure to multiple automation technologies and overseas assignments.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial automation, equipment servicing, machine commissioning or technical support.
• Hands-on knowledge of electrical/electronic components, servo motors, robotics, PC configuration and automation software.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, testing, commissioning and maintenance of industrial automation systems, including machine setup, software configuration and onsite equipment acceptance testing.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment breakdowns, including electrical/electronic circuits, servo motors, robotic systems and machine software, to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
• Configure electronic controllers, PCs, robotic software and automation equipment to ensure smooth system integration and optimal machine performance.
• Provide timely onsite and remote technical support, working closely with customers and internal engineering teams to resolve technical issues within service requirements.
• Prepare detailed service reports, document troubleshooting activities and provide technical recommendations to improve equipment reliability and customer satisfaction.
