Job summary

GYROMATIC INNOVATION PTE LTD is seeking a Field Service Engineer to commission and support Autonomous Mobile Robots at customer sites islandwide. The role involves travel, on-site maintenance, and training customers for safe operation.

You will troubleshoot robot systems, coordinate with R&D for improvements, and assist with additional duties as needed. Fresh graduates welcome. Attractive benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Candidates with Degree or Diploma in Electrical/Electronic/Mechatronic Engineering, or equivalent educational background are welcome to apply.
• Experience in semiconductor equipment, cleanroom, or manufacturing environment will be an advantage.
• Self-motivated, meticulous, disciplined and strong team player with high integrity.
• Basic knowledge of PLC programming will be an added advantage.
• Good troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Willing to travel overseas to customer sites when required.

Responsibilities

• Commission and set up Autonomous Mobile Robots at new customer locations or job sites, ensuring high-quality performance and stable daily operation.
• Travel to customer sites as needed for onsite support, preventive maintenance and troubleshooting services.
• Train customers on how to use and maintain our robots and certify them for proper operation.
• Address technical inquiries, quickly identify issues, and troubleshoot robot malfunctions to ensure minimal downtime and maintain customer satisfaction.
• Work with internal teams to address and solve robot issues, both on-site and for factory returns. Collect feedback to help improve the product and share insights with the R&D team.
• Assist with any additional duties assigned by the manager.
