Job summary

Danaher Diagnostics is hiring a Field Service Engineer to support Radiometer and other operating companies. You will perform field-based activities, provide technical support on site, by phone, email and remote access, and expand product knowledge through teamwork.

The ideal candidate has a Diploma/Degree in Computer, Biomedical, or Electronics engineering with 5+ years in medical/life sciences products, and must be willing to stand-by 24/7 on a rotational basis.

Responsibilities

The Field Service Engineer (FSE) is responsible for completing field-based activities to support Radiometer & other Operating Companies (Cepheid, Leica Biosystems) products portfolio. This includes providing technical support either on site or via phone, email and remote support to end users.

The successful candidate should be capable of handling advanced complaints, troubleshoot independently and possess the ability to work with customers and vendors at both business and technical levels.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Responsible for providing outstanding customer service and performing all the required service activities needed to support all Radiometer products including other Op-Co products that cover different technical aspects like hardware, software and connectivity
• Acquire extensive and sound product knowledge by working closely with other team members to provide technical solutions and support to our customers in an effective manner.
• Ensure that the relevant service KPIs are met by delivering consistent service levels that meet customers’ expectations, maximizing system performance, minimizing downtime and improving customer feedback scores.
• Performs additional tasks assigned by Management.

The essential requirements of the job include :

• Diploma /Degree in Computer engineering, Bio-medical engineering, Electronics or equivalent education and experience.
• Min 5 year’s + experience in Medical /life science products.
• Available to perform 24/7 standby duties on weekdays, weekends and holidays on a rotational basis.
