Job summary

Leica Biosystems Inc. is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support Leica and related operating companies. You will perform field-based service, provide technical support on-site or remotely, and troubleshoot complex issues to keep diagnostic systems running.

• Provide outstanding customer service and perform service activities to support Leica products (Histology, Pathology Imaging, Advanced Staining) including other Op-Co products.
• Acquire extensive product knowledge and work with team members to provide technical solutions and support to customers.
• Ensure service KPIs are met by delivering consistent service levels, maximizing system performance and minimizing downtime.
• Perform additional tasks assigned by Management.

The Field Service Engineer (FSE) is responsible for completing field-based activities to support Leica & other Operating Companies (Cepheid, Radiometer) products portfolio. This includes providing technical support either on site or via phone, email and remote support to end users.
The successful candidate should be capable of handling advanced complaints, troubleshoot independently and possess the ability to work with customers and vendors at both business and technical levels.

• Responsible for providing outstanding customer service and performing all the required service activities needed to support all Leica products (Histology, Pathology Imaging, Advance Staining) including other Op-Co products that cover different technical aspects like hardware, software and connectivity
• Acquire extensive and sound product knowledge by working closely with other team members to provide technical solutions and support to our customers in an effective manner.
• Ensure that the relevant service KPIs are met by delivering consistent service levels that meet customers’ expectations, maximizing system performance, minimizing downtime and improving customer feedback scores.
• Performs additional tasks assigned by Management.
  

The Essential Requirements Of The Job Include

• Diploma /Degree in Computer engineering, Bio-medical engineering, Electronics or equivalent education and experience.
• Min 3 - 5 year’s + experience in Medical /life science products.
