Job summary

Danaher Diagnostics is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support Leica and other operating companies, including Radiometer, with field-based activities and remote assistance. You will troubleshoot complex issues and interact with customers at technical and business levels to ensure high-quality service.

The role requires hands-on problem solving, detailed product knowledge, and the ability to meet service KPIs while maintaining customer satisfaction in a global diagnostics environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma /Degree in Computer engineering, Bio-medical engineering, Electronics or equivalent education and experience.
• Min 3 - 5 year’s + experience in Medical /life science products.

• Provide outstanding customer service and perform field service activities for Leica and other Op‑Co products.
• Acquire extensive product knowledge and work with team members to offer technical solutions.
• Ensure service KPIs are met by delivering consistent performance and minimizing downtime.

Field Service Engineer (FSE)

The Field Service Engineer (FSE) is responsible for completing field-based activities to support Leica & other Operating Companies (Cepheid, Radiometer) products portfolio. This includes providing technical support either on site or via phone, email and remote support to end users. The successful candidate should be capable of handling advanced complaints, troubleshoot independently and possess the ability to work with customers and vendors at both business and technical levels.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for providing outstanding customer service and performing all the required service activities needed to support all Leica products (Histology, Pathology Imaging, Advance Staining) including other Op‑Co products that cover different technical aspects like hardware, software and connectivity
• Acquire extensive and sound product knowledge by working closely with other team members to provide technical solutions and support to our customers in an effective manner.
• Ensure that the relevant service KPIs are met by delivering consistent service levels that meet customers’ expectations, maximizing system performance, minimizing downtime and improving customer feedback scores.
• Performs additional tasks assigned by Management.

Essential Requirements

• Diploma /Degree in Computer engineering, Bio-medical engineering, Electronics or equivalent education and experience.
• Min 3 - 5 year’s + experience in Medical /life science products.
