TSTAR Recruit is seeking a Field Service Engineer in Singapore to perform preventative and corrective maintenance on customer equipment at client sites. You will diagnose complex issues, install and commission equipment, conduct safety inspections, and document service activities for client records.

Strong communication with customers and teams is essential, and travel across sites is required. Ideal candidates hold an engineering degree and have proven field service experience in manufacturing

Competenze

• Degree in mechanical, electrical, chemical engineering or related.
• Experience as field service engineer or technician in life science/manufacturing/industrial equipment.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills under pressure.
• Ability to read technical drawings and service manuals.
• Excellent communication with customers and internal teams.
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel extensively.
• Willingness to undertake ongoing training.

Our esteemed client, an established MNC, is searching for a Field Service Engineer:

Job Responsibilities:

• Conducting preventative and corrective maintenance on customer equipment and systems in accordance with established protocols and service schedules
• Diagnosing technical issues and implementing effective troubleshooting solutions to minimise downtime
• Installing, configuring and commissioning equipment at customer sites, ensuring compliance with safety standards and specifications
• Performing routine inspections and safety checks to identify potential problems before they escape
• Documenting all service activities, maintenance records and technical observations in detail for client records and internal reporting
• Communicating effectively with customers to explain technical findings, recommend solutions and provide guidance on equipment operation
• Managing spare parts inventory and ensuring appropriate tools and equipment are maintained for field operations
• Responding promptly to service calls and emergency requests to resolve critical issues
• Supporting the continuous improvement of service delivery processes and contributing to the enhancement of our field operations

Job Requirements:

• Degree in mechanical, electrical, chemical or related engineering disciplines
• Proven experience working as a field service engineer, technician or in a similar technical field-based role, preferably within the life science, manufacturing, or industrial equipment sector
• Strong technical knowledge of equipment installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair procedures
• Excellent problem-solving abilities with the capability to diagnose complex technical issues under pressure
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, manuals and service documentation
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse customers and internal stakeholders
• Reliable transportation and a valid driving licence, as this role requires extensive travel to customer sites
• Willingness to undertake ongoing training and professional development to maintain technical competency

Additional Information:

• Salary: Up to SGD 6,000 +AWS +VB (1-3 Months)
• Working Hours: 5 Days Work, Mon-Fri: 8:30am-6pm
