Job summary

SYSPEX Technologies PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, commission, maintain and repair machinery and systems. You will diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, provide effective technical solutions, and train customers on proper usage and maintenance.

You will also prepare service reports, liaise with suppliers, and assist in quotations and maintenance contracts while ensuring compliance with safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Hands-on knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Minimum NITEC/Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics).
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
• Singapore Class 3 driving license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Provide field service support for machinery and systems, including installation, commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and customer training.
• Diagnose mechanical,electrical, and control system issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Respond to customer service requests within agreed response times and provide effective technical solutions.
• Prepare service reports and maintain accurate service records in the Company's SSA system.
• Recommend spare parts,repair solutions, and maintenance services to improve equipment performance andminimize downtime.
• Liaise with suppliers/principals/ manufacturers on technical support, warranty matters, equipment performance issues, spare part recommendation, service-related concerns.
• Support the Technical Operations Executive team in preparing service quotations, maintenance contracts, and technical proposals.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety requirements and company procedures while carrying out serviceactivities.
• Build and maintain good customer relationships through professional and responsive servicesupport.
• Participate in technical training and continuously upgrade technical knowledge and skills.
• Perform any other duties or assignments as assigned by the Superior.

Requirements:

• Hands-on and possess good knowledge in mechanical & electrical systems andtroubleshooting skills
• Minimum NITEC/Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics)
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in mechanical & electrical troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of PLC programming & troubleshooting, or AutoCAD experience will be anadded advantage.
• Team player, self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently
• Must be customer- orientated and willing to take challenges
• Possesses Singapore Class 3 Drivers’ License, preferably with own vehicle.
