Job summary

ADROIT INSTRUMENTATION PTE. LTD. invites motivated field service engineers to join our team in Singapore.

You will support pre-and post-sales activities, understand electronics, and interpret circuit diagrams. You will read and draft floor plans and schematics using AutoCAD, and coordinate project installation, testing, and commissioning. You will also train users on installed systems, perform on-site troubleshooting, and handle standby calls.

Qualifications

• Requires NITEC or Diploma in analog/digital/computer electronics (or similar).
• Must have at least 2 years of relevant experience and be able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support for pre- and post-sales service activities.
• Understand electronics concepts and read circuit diagrams.
• Read and draw floor plans and schematics using AutoCAD.
• Prepare daily reports and coordinate projects including installation, testing and commissioning.
• Provide user training on installed systems and perform field service troubleshooting.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Engineering support to the pre & post-sales serviceactivities
• Able to understand and has a good knowledge in electronics(e.g. Electronic Circuit Diagram)
• Able to read and draw floor plans and schematic diagramsusing AutoCAD
• Proficient in writing daily reports
• Perform project coordination, system installation,termination, testing & commissioning
• Perform user operation training of the system installed
• Perform field service to troubleshoot and rectify systemfault
• Required to carry out standby duty for servicing andanswering calls
• Attend site coordination meeting and site walk

Requirements

• NITEC and or Diploma preferably in Analogue, Digital andor Computer Electronics/Electrical.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience
• Knowledge in electrical termination and troubleshooting isan advantage
• Knowledge of computer skills and software such asMicrosoft (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Proficient in using Autocad
• Able to communicate well in written and verbalcommunications
• Able to work independently and adapt to a dynamic workingenvironment quickly
• Able to work under pressure to meet project deadlines andmultiple accounts/projects.
• Excellent problem solving and negotiation skills
• Organized, fast learner, proactive, able to multi-task andwith positive attitude
