Job summary

HRLinked Asia Search & Consultancy Pte Ltd is seeking a Sales Engineer in Singapore to visit manufacturers and provide face-to-face consultative sales for factory automation solutions. You will train to become a product expert, lead proactive sales conversations, and develop territory strategies.

The role involves regular travel to customer sites, delivering technical consultations, supporting product launches, and driving growth across various manufacturing industries.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business or Engineering related field.
• Interest and aptitude to master highly technical products.
• Interest in working in manufacturing environments.
• Excellent presentation, oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to listen and pro-actively respond to customer questions.
• Goal-oriented with a strong work ethic and contribution mindset.
• Willingness to undergo intensive training, mentorship and proactive sales processes.
• Willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Attend product and application training at Singapore Head Office (paid).
• Develop understanding of products through classes, seminars and on-the-job training.
• Provide technical consultation to customers to solve applications using company products.
• Respond promptly to customer requests.
• Secure new customers consistently and efficiently.
• Travel to customer locations three days per week and sell products/services.
• Coordinate account strategy and contribute to territory plans.
• Implement new product-launch strategies and grow market share.
• Coordinate off-site seminars and trade shows as needed.
