Job summary

Lam Research is hiring a Field Service Engineer in Singapore to join the Customer Support Business Group. You will repair, install, and maintain Lam etch/clean/deposition equipment at customer sites, travel frequently, and support short-term overseas assignments as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; graduate eligibility.
• Willing to relocate to Singapore and travel as needed.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to engage customers on technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Install and relocate equipment at customers’ sites and perform start-up and checkout on new systems.
• Provide on-site preventive maintenance and handle service actions to minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and coordinate with customers for timely resolution.
• Implement field modifications per ECOs and perform Tier 2 process qualification work.
• Prepare logs, service records, and diagnostic updates for customers and internal teams.
• Represent Lam professionally and maintain strong customer relations during service contracts.
• Maintain and secure company equipment and tools at customer sites.
