Job summary

KLA is seeking a Product Install Engineer to lead on-site installation, setup, and qualification of advanced semiconductor manufacturing equipment at customer facilities. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure installations meet specifications and hand over fully operational systems.

The role requires a hands-on engineer with strong mechanical, electrical and software troubleshooting skills, willingness to travel, and the ability to operate in cleanroom environments while adhering

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (Electrical/Mechanical/Mechatronics/Physics) or related hands‑on experience.
Experience with semiconductor manufacturing equipment or high‑precision electromechanical systems.
Strong troubleshooting across mechanical, electrical, and software domains.
Ability to work in cleanroom environments and follow EHS procedures.

Responsibilities

Perform mechanical, electrical, and software installation of semiconductor tools at customer sites.
Execute system bring‑up, calibration, and functional testing.
Interpret engineering drawings and installation documentation; ensure safety and standards compliance.
Conduct system diagnostics, verification tests, and performance qualification; document results.
Serve as the primary on-site technical contact during installation and handover.
