Job summary

Hupo is seeking a Field Engineer to own the technical implementation of client-specific solutions in a remote APAC environment. You will build and deploy integrations, troubleshoot issues, and ensure successful delivery across complex systems.

You will collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success to scale reusable tooling, improve deployment speed, and drive customer outcomes. Must have 4–7 years of experience and strong coding skills.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of software engineering experience, ideally in backend development
• Strong hands-on coding ability — writing, modifying, debugging, testing, and deploying production code
• Experience building or customising enterprise SaaS products and integrations
• Strong understanding of APIs, system integrations, data pipelines, and inter-system communication
• Experience troubleshooting technical issues and implementing fixes within an existing codebase
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and scalable solutions
• Clear communication skills for technical discussions with customers and internal teams

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy client-specific solutions, including bespoke logic beyond configuration
• Own the technical implementation from scoping to deployment
• Troubleshoot bugs and resolve issues with support from Engineering
• Integrate with enterprise systems (CRMs, LMS, APIs, SSO, identity management)
• Design and manage UAT, gather feedback, and implement improvements
• Develop reusable tools and patterns to accelerate future deployments
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Commercial, and Customer Success
