Job summary

CPM/PACIFIC (PRIVATE) LIMITED is seeking a field-oriented engineer to manage project lifecycles, including BOM creation in SAP B1, commissioning and after-sales support. You will provide technical field assistance across CPM equipment and generate sales opportunities.

Requirements include a mechanical engineering background, willingness to travel up to 50%, and experience with SAP B1, Excel, and CAD tools. This role blends technical service with sales support in a dynamic IPC environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent professional experience.
• Willingness to travel 30–50% as needed.
• Experience in customer service, sales support or project management is favorable.
• Proficiency with ERP systems, Excel, and CAD tools is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage project lifecycle from BOM in SAP B1 to commissioning and after-sales support.
• Provide field technical assistance for maintenance, installation, operation and start-up of CPM equipment.
• Support customers and sales team with technical and process information for after-market sales.
• Coordinate customer service and purchasing for after-market sales and delivery.
• Visit prospects, customers and agents to offer technical advice and generate sales opportunities.
• Maintain records of opportunities, quotes and contacts, and take action as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
