Job summary

Roboticsconnected is seeking a Field Application Engineer to support Singapore and Malaysia deployments. You will implement on-site robot solutions, configure firmware for robots and conveyors, and ensure customers achieve smooth operations for HAI products.

This role covers large-scale warehouse automation projects with AGVs, ACRs and AMRs, plus system integration testing and on-site inspections. Travel >9 months/year is expected, and English is the working language in a bilingual environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Industrial/Robotics/Electronic Engineering or related field.
• 1–2+ years experience implementing AGV/ACR/AMR solutions.
• Experience in warehouse automation and material handling equipment.
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix and SQL; ability to write automation scripts.
• Willingness to travel more than 9 months per year; fluent English in a bilingual environment.

Job Responsibilities：

• Independently complete on-site robot implementation tasks, configure firmware for hardware equipment such as robots and conveyor lines.
• Provide support to customers during and after deployment to ensure the smooth operation of HAI products.
• Implement complex large-scale warehouse automation projects, including the installation of AGVs, ACRs, AMRs, conveyor lines, and related equipment.
• Develop testing and acceptance standards, and conduct on-site inspections and evaluations for project management.
• Perform automated system integration tests and assist with software testing during project implementation.
• Empower local outsourcing partners and regional FAEs to enhance local delivery capabilities.

Job Requirements：

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Industrial/Robotics/Electronic Engineering or a related field, with relevant professional knowledge.
• 1-2 years or more of experience in implementing AGV, ACR, or AMR solutions.
• Strong analytical skills with excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• 1-2 years or more of experience in warehouse automation, material handling equipment, and warehouse operations.
• Familiarity with Linux/UNIX and SQL, with the ability to write scripts for task automation.
• Comfortable working in a bilingual Chinese-English environment; able to communicate fluently in English as a working language.
• Possession of a U.S. visa is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of VPN, firewalls, and routers.
• Willingness to travel for more than 9 months per year.
