Job summary

Hai Robotics is seeking a field deployment engineer in Singapore to lead on-site robot implementation, configure firmware, and support customers during and after deployment to ensure smooth operation of Hai Robotics products. You will drive large-scale warehouse automation projects with AGVs, AMRs, and conveyors, and establish testing standards through on-site inspections and integration tests.

The role requires 1–2 years+ of experience in warehouse automation, Linux/UNIX, SQL, and scripting;

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Industrial/Robotics/Electronic Engineering or a related field.
• 1–2 years (or more) experience implementing AGV/ACR/AMR solutions.
• Experience in warehouse automation and material handling equipment.
• Proficiency with Linux/Unix and SQL; ability to write scripts for automation.
• Fluent English; bilingual Chinese-English environment.
• U.S. visa preferred; willingness to travel >9 months per year.
• Knowledge of VPN, firewalls, and routers.

Responsibilities

• Independently complete on-site robot implementation tasks and configure firmware.
• Provide support to customers during and after deployment to ensure smooth operation.
• Implement large-scale warehouse automation projects including AGVs/ACRs/AMRs and conveyors.
• Develop testing and acceptance standards; conduct on-site inspections.
• Perform automated system integration tests and assist with software testing.
• Empower local outsourcing partners and regional FAEs to enhance delivery capabilities.
