Manpower Staffing Services Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking a Field Application Engineer (Semiconductor) for our client in Singapore, based in Kallang. You will provide technical support and application expertise to customers while driving regional growth.

The role requires a Diploma in Electronic/Electrical Engineering, a strong R&D customer network, and the ability to engage customers independently. Travel regionally within SEA is expected as part of duties.

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher in Electronic/Electrical Engineering required.
• Strong R&D customer network and ability to engage customers independently.
• Willingness to travel regionally across SEA.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Office apps.
• Ability to multitask and manage time in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilités

• Provide technical support and application expertise to customers as a Field Application Engineer.
• Visit customers to understand technical requirements and translate them into executable solutions.
• Prepare market and competitor analyses with Product Marketing team.
• Contribute to development of new products and expansion of the portfolio.
• Conduct technical trainings, presentations, and workshops for internal and external audiences.
• Support customers in design reviews, project development, and engineering discussions.

Our client is a global semiconductor manufacturer specializing in discrete semiconductor devices, with a broad product portfolio and international presence across Asia, Europe and the Americas.

We are seeking a Field Application Engineer to join our Singapore office, providing technical support and application expertise to customers while supporting business growth in the region.

Responsibilities

• Technical support of our sales as a Field Application Engineer


• Visit to customers to understand their technical requirements for new/ current projects and convert them into executable solutions using our product


• Prepare market and competitor analysis with our Product Marketing team


• Participate in development of new products with our Product Marketing team to enlarge our existing portfolio


• Conduct technical training/ presentations/ workshops/ solution demonstrations both internally within the organization and at customer's end


• Support customer in their design review/ project development and engineering discussions

Requirements

• Diploma and above in Electronic and/or Electrical Engineering


• Excellent R&D customer network


• Has the ability to engage customer independently


• Collaborate with local and overseas distributors & major customers across multiple regions


• Fast learner with a proactive attitude and a sense of accountability


• Able to multitask, prioritize workload and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment


• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with other Microsoft Office applications
