Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Electronics Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in semiconductor, electronics, field service, or application engineering.
• Strong fundamentals in analog/digital electronics, metrology, and test systems.
• Hands-on, problem-solving mindset with strong troubleshooting skills.
• Good communication skills and ability to work with customers and global teams.
• Willing to travel and work at customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Field Service & Customer Support: on-site and remote across Asia; installation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and system recovery.
• Application Engineering & Development: developing, debugging, and validating application test programmes; supporting board design and system validation; translating customer requirements into practical solutions.
• System Integration & Deployment: system setup, integration, and acceptance testing at customer sites; ensuring fully functional deployments; collaborating with engineering teams to resolve issues.
• Collaboration & Continuous Improvement: partnering with Engineering, Production, and Operations to deliver solutions; contributing to a Technical Center of Excellence in Singapore; driving improvements from customer feedback.

About the Role

Are you an engineer who enjoys solving real-world problems and working hands‑on with advanced technology?

We are looking for motivated Field Service Engineers (Application) to support and deliver high-performance semiconductor solutions across customer sites in Asia.

In this role, you won’t just design from behind a desk — you will be on the front line, installing systems, troubleshooting complex issues, and working directly with customers to optimise performance and deliver impactful solutions.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll play a critical role in ensuring our systems perform reliably in real-world environments by:

Field Service & Customer Support

• Supporting customers on‑site and remotely across Asia
• Performing installation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and system recovery
• Diagnosing and resolving complex system‑level issues in live production environments

Application Engineering & Development

• Developing, debugging, and validating application test programmes
• Supporting application board design, assembly, and system validation
• Translating customer requirements into practical technical solutions

System Integration & Deployment

• Supporting system setup, integration, and acceptance testing at customer sites
• Ensuring solutions are fully functional and ready for deployment
• Working closely with engineering teams to resolve design and system issues

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

• Partnering with Engineering, Production, and Operations teams to deliver solutions
• Contributing to a growing Technical Center of Excellence in Singapore
• Driving improvements based on real‑world customer feedback and system performance
