Job summary

AEM Singapore Pte. Ltd. is seeking motivated Application Engineers to join the Field Service Team.

The role targets juniors to mid-level candidates with 3–5 years of experience in electronics or semiconductor environments. You will provide customer support, installation, troubleshooting and preventive maintenance of AEM equipment with a strong focus on application development. You will work under close supervision to ensure high-quality service delivery in line with company and customer

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering or related field.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in electronics, semiconductor, field service or application engineering.
• Strong understanding of analog and digital electronics, metrology and test systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site and remote technical support for customer applications.
• Support installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and system recovery activities.
• Define technical requirements, scope solutions and support quotation activities.
• Coordinate with Engineering and Production for technical execution.
• Manage application board design, assembly, testing and validation.
• Develop, debug and validate test programs.
• Support solution release, acceptance testing, deployment and sustaining activities.
• Contribute to development of a Technical Center of Excellence in Singapore for applications and electronic equipment.

Job Summary

We are seeking motivated individuals to join our Field Service Team as Application Engineers. This role is suitable for junior to mid-level candidates with 3-5 years of experience in electronics, semiconductor, or application engineering environments. The role involves providing customer support, installation, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance of AEM equipment and systems, with a strong focus on application development and technical solution support. You will work under close supervision while ensuring high-quality service delivery in accordance with company and customer standards.

Responsibilities

Your primary responsibility will be supporting application solutions for AEM customers, mainly across Asia. This includes:

• Providing on-site and remote technical support for customer applications
• Supporting installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and system recovery activities
• Defining technical requirements, scoping solutions, and supporting quotation activities
• Coordinating with Engineering and Production for technical execution
• Managing application board design, assembly, testing, and validation
• Developing, debugging, and validating test programs
• Supporting solution release, acceptance testing, deployment, and sustaining activities

You will also contribute to the development of a Technical Center of Excellence in Singapore for applications and electronic equipment, including:

• Supporting technical operations and field service excellence
• Assisting in planning, resource coordination, and operational execution
• Supporting documentation, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering or related field
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in electronics, semiconductor, field service, or application engineering
• Strong understanding of analog and digital electronics, metrology, and test systems
• Experience in customer support, field service, or application engineering roles
• Project coordination or exposure to project management (planning, resources, reporting) is an advantage
• Strong communication skills in English, with ability to work in an international environment
• Experience in semiconductor environments is highly preferred
• Willingness to travel and work at customer sites as required
