Job summary

Asia Dance Arts Festival (ADAF) is seeking an experienced Event Manager to lead end-to-end planning, execution and financial governance for ADAF 2027 in Singapore with regular travel to China and Malaysia. Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Event Management or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in event management, live entertainment production, festivals or competitions.
• Proven track record delivering events with 500+ attendees and multiple concurrent programmes.
• Budget planning, vendor contract management and on-site event execution.
• Strong project management with multiple timelines under pressure.
• Fluency in English and Mandarin for daily communication with partners and delegations.
• Willingness to travel regularly to China and Malaysia; passport with no travel restrictions.

Responsibilities

• Lead scoping, programme structure and master timeline for ADAF 2027 across competitions, forum, masterclasses and award ceremony.
• Coordinate with management, dance schools, studios and overseas delegations to set deliverables, milestones and participation targets.
• Travel to China and Malaysia to coordinate with ADAF regional divisions, partner festivals and dance institutions, recruit participants and delegations, and support regional competitions.
• Coordinate judges, masterclass faculty and guest artists, including invitations, travel, accommodation and on-site itineraries.
• Manage sponsor and partner deliverables, including branding placements, hospitality and post-event reports.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop contingency plans for smooth on-site operations.
• Plan, monitor and reconcile the festival budget; source and supervise venues, staging, AV, lighting, ticketing, printing and logistics.
• Oversee participant registration, schedules and backstage coordination; manage timing across genres and age groups.
• Direct event staff, stage managers and volunteers; ensure adherence to master run sheets and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with marketing on promotional timelines and post-event reporting.
