Job description

Do you regard yourself as a problem-solver? Do you enjoy learning and growing continuously alongside a team? Do you hold yourself to high standards and have a no-task-too-small mentality? Do you see yourself as someone who enjoys interacting with international customers? If you do, we'd like to invite you to apply for the role of the Operations Intern.

This is a part-time internship position (4 days/week), though a 3-day work week arrangement is a possibility (internship stipend will be prorated accordingly).

If you're able to help out in a part-time capacity (twice a week) after your internship ends, we are open to that too.

For this internship, there's also one kick-off and one closing session to help you formulate points for your resume.

About you
  • Detail-oriented: When you run quality control checks and schedule deliveries, you'll need to exercise extra scrutiny to ensure we can deliver the best version of our products to the right address. As a Operations Intern, you'll ensure that every step is executed correctly and hold our partners accountable to produce and deliver the orders timely
  • Professional problem solver: As a Operations intern, the team relies on you to be amongst the first line of contact with our suppliers. While we may have developed standard procedures for some scenarios, you must also be interested to think of ideas to solve new problems that come up
  • Accountable: There are many operational issues that can come up and mistakes that could happen, and we don't have a culture of blaming each other. When such issues occur, you will not shy away from admitting your mistake, and you will fix the problem immediately without any reminders
  • Team player: You will support two sales specialists very closely, and we are looking for team players who look after one another
Requirements
  • This role is open to Singaporean/PR
  • Paper qualifications aren't important, so it doesn't matter if you have a NITEC, Diploma or Degree
  • Enjoys engaging customers in fluent English (written and conversational)
  • Passion in fashion and menswear is a bonus
  • Working hours are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday/Thursday and Friday from 945am to 645pm
Roles & Responsibilities
  • Manage fabric inventory (includes cutting fabric and conducting bi-weekly checks)
  • Assist in managing production, partners, and implementing quality control
  • Reply basic customer emails after learning our customer reply framework
  • Conduct basic quality control checks (includes ironing, may include measurements checks using measuring tape if you learn fast)
  • Conduct order fulfilment with the use of delivery softwares
