Job summary

Tee Yih Jia Food Manufacturing Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to perform preventive and corrective maintenance across all facilities, buildings and services systems.

You will handle routine servicing, update maintenance checklists, coordinate with contractors, and respond to faults during and after office hours, including overtime when needed.

Qualifications

• Min NITEC in electrical/mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of relevant work in Building Maintenance / Facilities Management.
• Willingness to perform shift work; 5 days per week rostered 8am-6pm or 8pm-6am; OT beyond 44 hours/week.

Responsibilities

• Carry out in-house preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance for all facilities, buildings and services systems.
• Attend to day-to-day maintenance operations for all facilities, buildings and services systems.
• Maintain proper records of maintenance checklists and documentations.
• Liaise and coordinate with contractors for routine servicing and emergency repairs.
• Perform standby/duty to attend to system faults during or after office hours, weekends and public holidays when needed.
• Minimize downtime of facilities, buildings and services during operation.
• Log, update and maintain all facilities, building and services spare parts, tools and instruments.
• To work under sub-zero environment and no phobia of heights.
• Inform superiors/duty personnel for faults/alarms/abnormalities; learn and maintain new systems as assigned.
• Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned by Facility Engineers/Assistant Engineers

• Liaising and coordinating with contractors for routine servicing and emergency repair in order to keep all the above systems in operational state.




• Perform standby / duty to attend to system fault during or after office hours, weekends and public holidays when needed.




• Minimize all facilities, building and services downtime during operation.




• Log, update and maintain all facilities, building and services spare parts, tools and instruments.




• To be able to work under sub-zero environment and no phobia of heights.




• To inform immediate superiors/duty personnel for all faults/alarms/abnormalities for all systems.




• To learn and maintain any other new/additional systems not mentioned above as assigned by Head of Department.




• Perform any other ad hoc duties assigned by Facility Engineers/Assistant Engineers

Job Requirement:

• Min NITEC In electrical/mechanical engineering or equivalent




• 1 to 2 years’ relevant working experience in Building Maintenance / Facilities Management




• Willingness to perform shift work, 5 days workweek from Monday to Sunday will be rostered 8 am to 6 pm OR 8 pm to 6 am. OT payable beyond 44 hours/week.
