Job summary

Vanguard Healthcare Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a dedicated housekeeping attendant for the nursing home kitchen at Senja (Bukit Panjang) / Bukit Batok Care Home. You will perform daily hygiene and cleanliness tasks to ensure safe food handling and a high standard of cleanliness for residents.

Responsibilities include assisting with food hygiene, kitchen cleanliness, chemical handling, stocking supplies, coordinating with vendors and auditing kitchen facilities; and assisting with plating if

Qualifications

• Basic English proficiency to communicate with colleagues.

• Experience in hospitality or food & beverage preferred.
• Able to work on rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the maintenance of food hygiene (receiving, storage, temperature control, and preparation).
• Uphold environmental cleanliness (wash dishes and cutlery); daily and weekly deep cleans.
• Ensure proper handling of chemicals and safe storage practices.
• Report maintenance deficiencies to the Operations team.
• Ensure kitchen supplies are adequate to meet daily needs.
• Keep work areas hazard-free and sanitize tools/equipment after use.
• Work with vendors to receive food deliveries.
• Collaborate with the Centre Manager to audit kitchen facilities.
• Conduct plating activities if required.

Working Location: Senja (Bukit Panjang) / Bukit Batok Care Home This role will be responsible to perform daily housekeeping functions and maintain high standard of hygiene and cleanliness within the kitchen of the Nursing Home.

Working Location: Senja (Bukit Panjang) / Bukit Batok Care Home This role will be responsible to perform daily housekeeping functions and maintain high standard of hygiene and cleanliness within the kitchen of the Nursing Home. You will support the Assistant Executive, Operations and Operations Executto work with outsourced vendors to ensure the safe and proper management, kitchen cleanliness, handling, plating and delivery of food to residents.

The Detailed Duties Are As Follows

• Assist in the maintenance of food hygiene (taking delivery of food, storage of food, food temperature maintenance, food preparation)
• Upkeep environmental cleanliness (washing of dishes and cutlery), includes daily cleaning and weekly deep cleaning
• Ensure proper handling of chemicals
• Report any maintenance deficiencies detected within the kitchen to the Operations Support Assistant and/or Ops Support Exec.
• Ensure kitchen supplies are adequate to meet the daily needs of the nursing home
• Keep work areas free of hazardous conditions. Ensure that kitchen tools / equipment are cleansed and properly stored after usage.
• Work with vendors to receive food
• Work with the Centre Manager to audit the kitchen facilities
• Conduct plating activities if required

Requirements
