Job summary

Talent Trader Group seeks a Facilities Technician to maintain critical facility utility systems including ACMV, cooling/heating and cleanroom support in a manufacturing environment in Singapore.

The ideal candidate holds NITEC/Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical disciplines with hands-on experience in ACMV, chillers, and building services. Willingness to work shifts and follow safety SOPs is required for this role.

Qualifications

• NITEC/Higher NITEC/ Diploma or equivalent in Mechanical/Electrical/Building Services or related disciplines.
• Experience in maintaining cooling & heating systems, ACMV, cleanroom utilities or facility equipment.
• Basic troubleshooting skills in mechanical and electrical systems.
• Willing to perform shift work if required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on facility utility systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair cooling and heating systems to ensure reliable operation.
• Maintain compressed air systems, vacuum systems, and utility equipment.
• Inspect and maintain ACMV systems for cleanroom and non-cleanroom environments.
• Monitor facility performance via Building Management Systems (BMS) and respond to alarms.

This is an excellent opportunity for technicians with experience in ACMV, utilities, or facility maintenance who are looking to grow their technical expertise while working with state-of-the-art equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on facility utility systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair cooling and heating systems, ensuring reliable operation.
• Maintain compressed air systems, vacuum systems, and utility equipment.
• Inspect, monitor, and maintain cleanroom and non-cleanroom ACMV systems.
• Carry out routine inspections of chillers, AHUs, FCUs, pumps, cooling towers, compressors, and ventilation systems.
• Monitor facility performance through Building Management Systems (BMS) and respond promptly to alarms.
• Coordinate with contractors during servicing, repairs, and equipment installations.
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations, SOPs, and company policies.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and prepare service reports.
• Participate in equipment improvement and continuous reliability initiatives.
• Support emergency breakdown response to minimize equipment downtime.

Requirements

• NITEC, Higher NITEC, Diploma, or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Facilities Management, Building Services, or related disciplines.
• Experience in maintaining one or more of the following:Cooling & Heating SystemsChillersCooling TowersAir CompressorsVacuum SystemsACMV SystemsCleanroom UtilitiesBuilding Services Equipment
• Basic troubleshooting skills in mechanical and electrical systems.
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance practices and safety procedures.
• Willing to perform shift work if required.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with:Cleanroom FacilitiesSemiconductor or Manufacturing FacilitiesPharmaceutical or Chemical PlantsBuilding Management System (BMS)HVAC / ACMV SystemsPumps and MotorsUtility Equipment
