Job summary

Cordlife Group Limited in Singapore seeks a hands-on Facilities Operations Lead to ensure smooth running of workshops, laboratories, offices, and building infrastructure. You will coordinate security, safety, and regulatory compliance while liaising with internal stakeholders.

The role requires a Diploma in Facilities Management and at least 3 years in operations management, with the ability to manage contractors, schedules and budgets.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Facilities Management or related field is required.
• At least 3 years of experience in operations/facilities management, with labs/workshops experience preferred.
• Flexibility to work outside regular hours to support operations.
• Ability to break down tasks into actionable steps and set deadlines.
• Proficiency in MS Office and AV systems; experience with relocations is a plus.
• Experience in managing contractors and subcontractors; HS&E knowledge a plus.

Ensure seamless operations and adherence to regulatory standards within the facility.

Key Duties:

• Support organizational activities and research requirements related to workshops, laboratories, offices, building infrastructure, and security management.
• Conduct regular inspections of the facility r to ensure optimal operational performance, with a focus on security and safety compliance.
• Maintain a secure and safe working environment across the facility.
• Collaborate with in-house contractors to gather feedback on facilities and ensure the facility remains in excellent operational condition.
• Assist with sourcing and coordinating vendors for quotations, equipment, and services, overseeing contractor performance, scheduling, and safety during implementation.
• Address staff and management requests and queries promptly and effectively.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders and partners to support overall facility operations.
• Contribute to the execution of corporate facility-related projects.
• Investigate and resolve issues related to workshop or laboratory breakdowns.
• Facilitate the creation and maintenance of SOPs, forms, and presentation materials for facilities operations.
• Perform basic handyman duties as required.
• Support statutory and internal audits.
• Take on other tasks as delegated by the reporting officer.

Job Requirements:

• A diploma in a relevant field (Facilities Management, Safety, Operations, etc.).
• At least 3 years of experience in operations management, particularly in workshops, laboratories, facility services, building maintenance, and electrical or mechanical systems.
• Flexibility to work outside regular hours when necessary to support operations.
• Ability to break down assigned tasks into actionable steps and set realistic deadlines for completion.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AV systems. Experience with office relocations or outfitting is an added advantage.
• Previous experience in managing contractors, facility services, and subcontractor oversight.
• Basic knowledge of Health, Safety, and Environmental (HS&E) regulations.
• Highly self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
