Job summary

Fonda Global Engineering Pte. Ltd. is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day critical facilities operations in an Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) contract.

You will manage maintenance, drive KPI-based performance, and coordinate on-site contractors and vendors to ensure adherence to standards and local laws. Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant working experience in Facilities Management.
• Minimally holds a degree with relevant engineering, facilities management, or similar field.
• Certified Senior Fire Safety Manager / Fire Safety Manager with at least 2 years’ experience will be preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage maintenance and daily site operations as Operations Manager for day-to-day facilities operations in an IFM contract.
• Oversee performance via KPIs and take corrective actions to improve outcomes; manage conflicts and client relationships.
• On-site management of contractors, sub-contractors and vendors ensuring work meets standards and local regulations.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to integrate DC operations with other maintenance functions.
• Establish and maintain operational, maintenance and emergency procedures to keep data centre in optimal condition.
• Prepare monthly maintenance, operations and progress reports and attend meetings with clients.
• Assist stakeholders in urgent works, audits, inspections, consultancy and site operations.
• Support Management Team in rolling out productivity improvement programmes at the site.

Job description

Key Responsibilities

• 1. Manage the maintenance and daily site operations as the role of Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day critical facilities operations in an Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) Contract.
• 2. Responsible for overall maintenance and operation outcomes based on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and take corrective actions as necessary to continuously improve performance. Manage conflicts, disputes, ground issues and improve working relationships as necessarily.
• 3. Responsible for on-site management of contractors, sub-contractors and vendors, ensuring that all work performed is in accordance with established practices, procedures, standards and local legislations.
• 4. Collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth integration of DC operations with other critical functions for maintenance, upgrading of equipment / systems.
• 5. Establish and maintain operational, maintenance and emergency procedures to ensure DC remains in optimal condition.
• 6. Prepare monthly maintenance, operations, progress reports and other irregular reports such as Building Inspection Reports, and attend such regular meetings on behalf of Company with clients and client’s representatives.
• 7. Assist and support internal and external stakeholders in urgent works, auditing functions, inspections, consultancy works, project works involving BI and site operations.
• 8. Support and coordinate with the Management Team in rolling out innovative and productivity improvement programmes within the site.

Key Qualifications

• 1. At least 5 years of relevant working experience in Facilities Management
• 2. Minimally holds a degree with relevant engineering, facilities management, or similar field.
• 3. Certified Senior Fire Safety Manager / Fire Safety Manager with at least 2 years’ experience in a Fire Safety Management role will be preferred.
• 4. Possesses good communication, interpersonal skills and able to work independently and a strong team player.
