Job summary

A leading human resource company in Singapore is looking for an operations manager to oversee the administration and performance of a facilities cluster. The role includes managing up to 10 staff, dealing with subcontractor works, and ensuring KPIs are met. Candidates should have a degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and at least 7 years of experience in Facilities Maintenance. This permanent role requires after-hours work as needed. A competitive salary range of $4,000 to $4,500 is offered.

• Experience in people management is preferred.

• Attend and follow up on customer meetings.

Responsibilities

• Overall in charge of the entire operations overall administration and performance of the cluster under his/her purview
• Manage up to 10 staff under his/her reporting strength
• In charge of managing all subcontractor works for the cluster under his/her purview
• To be overall in charge of managing all KPIs, ensuring they meet the necessary deadlines, as required in the contract
• To attend and follow up on regular/ad-hoc customer meetings and discussions
• Reports directly to the Contract Manager of this contract

Working hours

• Mon to Fri: 8.30AM to 5.30PM
• Required to attend to work exigencies after office hours / weekends/ public holidays if the need arises
• $4,000 – $4,500

Requirements

• Degree/Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Civil Engineering
• Degree in Facilities Management
• Registered Fire Safety Manager with SCDF
• Minimum 7 years of experience in the Facilities Maintenance industry
• Experience in people management is preferred
