Job summary

A leading staffing agency in Singapore is looking for a Technical Officer / Engineer specialized in Facilities Building Management. The candidate will perform maintenance inspections, supervise contractors, and manage customer service requests. A Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with at least 3 years of experience is necessary. Candidates with FSM or similar certifications will have an advantage. The position is under a 2-year contract with a salary ranging from $2,800 to $3,000 monthly, requiring flexibility to work shifts and weekends.

Job description

Technical Officer / Engineer (Facilities Building Management)

Employment Type: Contract

Monthly Salary: 3000

Location: Central & North

Responsibilities:

• Station on-site and perform daily inspection and preventive maintenance works in Mechanical and Electrical Systems according to Scheduled Maintenance in assigned buildings
• Attend to feedback, Breakdown and customer service requests, Fault-Calls and carry out fault rectification within specified time and budget
• Supervise and co-ordinate with contractors and vendors on works according to scheduled maintenance, repair, shut-down and overhaul works
• Assist Manager to keep records of Mechanical and Electrical system servicing reports and monitor the performance of the systems and equipment
• Assist Manager in day to day operation of the Mechanical and Electrical Systems
• Develop and sustain good working relationship with all levels of people

Period:

• 2 Years contract
  • Until 30 th June 2021

Location:

• Multiple Locations
  • Central & North

Working Hours:

• 5 Days work week
  • Based on roaster which may include weekends & PH
• $2,800 - $3,000

Requirements:

• Diploma in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering or other relevant Facility Building qualification (min 3 years). Candidates with more relevant experience will be considered for more senior positions.
• Candidates with FSM, GMM, SCEM or CERT Trained has an advantage
• Must have with sound hands on knowledge of ACMV system
• Candidates with Fire Protection, BAS, Plumbing, Sanitary and/or HT/LT knowledge will be favourably considered
• Hands on knowledge on operation and maintenance of Mechanical and Electrical systems
• Proficient in MS office application
• Team player with good communication and coordination skills
• Willing to work on rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays
