Job summary

National Gallery Singapore seeks a seasoned Facilities Manager to oversee long-term planning and asset management for the Gallery’s M&E and building systems. You will lead contract procurement, project management, budget control and stakeholder engagement to ensure safe and compliant operations.

With 5+ years in facilities management, you will drive sustainability initiatives, coordinate with internal teams, tenants and authorities, and ensure timely delivery of maintenance and improvement

Qualifications

• Meticulous, self-driven and able to work effectively under tight deadlines.
• Strong ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously, with a proactive and adaptable approach to work.
• Effective team player with excellent interpersonal, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Demonstrates the ability to present ideas and recommendations clearly to Management and translate feedback into actionable plans.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement long-term maintenance and asset management plans for M&E, building systems, facilities and related infrastructure.
• Plan and manage preventive and corrective maintenance programmes for M&E and building systems, services and facilities.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders, consultants, contractors and authorities to ensure smooth execution and completion of projects.
• Investigate facilities and services breakdowns, conduct root-cause analysis and coordinate remedial works.
• Develop and propose annual budgets for M&E and facilities and monitor expenditure and variances.
• Plan and execute improvement works and A&A to support operational requirements.
• Monitor utilities usage and implement energy and water efficiency improvements.
