Job summary

Singtel is seeking a dedicated Facilities Manager to oversee day-to-day operations across multiple locations, ensuring reliability of critical infrastructure and environment monitoring systems. You’ll coordinate preventive maintenance, manage incidents, and drive efficiency improvements while maintaining compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.

The role requires strong analytical skills, effective stakeholder communication, and a background in FM, engineering, or related fields.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in mechanical/electrical engineering or FM.
• Strong knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS) and electrical distribution.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and with internal/external teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Experience in telecommunications or critical facilities is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day facilities operations across assigned Singtel locations, ensuring building systems and critical infrastructure remain reliable and operational.
• Monitor key facilities systems, including power, UPS, cooling, environmental monitoring, BMS and related infrastructure.
• Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance, planned shutdowns and technical issue resolution with service providers and stakeholders.
• Manage facilities incidents, including escalation, root-cause analysis, corrective actions and service restoration.
• Monitor Managing Agent and service-provider performance against agreed service levels and maintenance requirements.
• Ensure facilities operations comply with applicable fire safety, workplace safety, building and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain facilities documentation, asset records and operational reports, and support internal and external audits.
• Manage facilities-related customer requests and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Support operating and capital budget management, expenditure monitoring and facilities-related financial processes.
• Identify opportunities to improve BMS performance, maintenance reliability, energy efficiency and operational effectiveness.
• Support facilities projects, sustainability initiatives and energy-conservation programmes.
• Participate in change management activities and coordinate approvals for site or system changes.
