Responsibilities

• Take the lead in organizing, supervising, and streamlining facilities operations to guarantee efficiency and business continuity.
• Protect vital infrastructure and make sure that facilities meet the organization's strategic requirements.
• Create and carry out cost-cutting projects, preventative maintenance plans, and facilities management strategies.
• Oversee significant facilities improvement projects, such as remodeling, moving, and eco-friendly projects.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders (business units, IT, HR, and HSE) to make sure facility operations meet changing business needs.
• Keep emergency response plans, business continuity plans, and facilities risk assessments current.
• Encourage ongoing enhancements to facility management procedures, such as energy management, contractor management, and space use optimization.
• To improve service delivery and compliance, standardize and document processes.
• Oversee a number of outside suppliers and service providers for waste management, building services, gardening, cleaning, security, and maintenance.
• Assure effective vendor assessments, contract administration, and the acquisition of services linked to facilities.
• Verify adherence to regional construction codes, fire safety specifications, and occupational health and safety guidelines.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree or diploma in engineering, building services, facilities management, or a similar discipline.
• It is beneficial to have a facilities management certification, such as IFMA Certified Facility Manager (CFM) or its equivalent.
• At least five to eight years of relevant experience managing facilities, ideally in a technical, industrial, or business setting.
• Excellent experience in budgeting, project execution, and vendor management.
• Thorough knowledge of HVAC, fire safety, security, and building management systems (BMS)
