Responsibilities
- Conduct daily monitoring and recording of facilities system operating parameters.
- Verify recorded data against the specified control limits and report deviations or potential issues to the Technical Service Engineer.
- Complete assigned maintenance activities and ensure proper documentation including shift report, PM work orders, FMS updates, equipment activity record and etc.
- Respond to site issues and problems as the frontline protection guard.
- Liaise with vendors or contractors for troubleshooting and resolving issues such as lift or dumbwaiter malfunctions, water leaks, pipe bursts, power trips, fire alarms triggers and etc.
- Actively troubleshoot and restore systems to normal operation during emergency situations.
- Supervise and monitor maintenance service contractors to ensure satisfactory completion of maintenance works in compliance with the Company requirements (EHS, SOW, housekeeping, etc.).
- Maintain equipment and shop floor cleanliness and conduct first layer process audits.
- Support work order management.
- Act as administrator for daily facilities morning meeting, including recording, updating, saving and emailing minutes to relevant vendors.
- Follow up OCAP to report and escalate identified issues promptly to prevent production or safety impact.
- Follow instructions from system owners and managers for checking, investigation, reporting, and corrective action.
Education / Experience Requirements
- Preferably candidates with a minimum Higher NITEC/ NITEC in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Prior experience in related field will be an advantage.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Willing to work 12-hour rotating shifts as per schedule, including weekends and public holidays.
