Job summary

Marina Bay Sands seeks an Assistant Manager in Facilities to rotate among fire safety and systems maintenance, ensuring uninterrupted services across the property. You will monitor fire detection and protection systems and coordinate with contractors for timely outcomes.

You will also assist in budget management, procurement of spares, and development of SOPs and risk assessments, with 24/7 readiness for emergencies and a focus on safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in a related field preferred.
• At least 3 years of hands-on facilities experience in hotels, MICE, retail, or museum.
• Certified Fire Safety Manager or related certification is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of local fire and life-safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain fire systems and equipment to ensure uninterrupted service.
• Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance per Singapore standards and guidelines.
• Coordinate and supervise contractors to meet objectives.
• Ensure safe work practices and update risk assessments for the team.
• Manage budget and procurement of spare parts and supplies.
• Create SOPs and training materials for fire systems.
• Be on 24/7 readiness for emergency calls.
• Carry out inspections of systems, plant rooms and equipment.
