Job summary

Moxy Hotels in Singapore is seeking a seasoned Engineering & Facilities Manager to oversee all engineering/maintenance operations, ensuring safety, regulatory compliance and asset protection. You will manage budgets, CAPEX projects, and preventive maintenance while guiding the emergency response team.

The role requires strong leadership, technical maintenance expertise and a focus on energy efficiency and regulatory standards to deliver excellent guest experience and safe facilities.

Qualifications

• Education And Experience requirements: High school diploma or GED with 3 years related experience or equivalent 2-year degree with 1 year related experience.
• Technical training in HVAC-R, electrical, and plumbing is expected.
• Ability to manage budgets, preventive maintenance, and energy conservation.

Responsibilities

• Manages the physical plant including equipment, refrigeration, HVAC, plumbing, water treatment and electrical systems.
• Ensures regulatory compliance to facility regulations and safety standards.
• Manages and controls heat, light and power and recommends energy conservation measures.
• Develops specifications for service contracts and administers contracts to support building needs.
• Distributes preventive maintenance work orders and monitors completion quality and timeliness.
• Oversees maintenance of grounds, guestrooms, public spaces, restaurants, vehicles and recreational facilities.

Education

High school diploma or GED; 3 years experience in engineering & maintenance; HVAC-R/electrical/plumbing training

2-year degree in Building and Construction, Engineering, Mechanics, or related major; 1 year experience in engineering & maintenance; HVAC-R/electrical/plumbing training
