Job summary

STMICROELECTRONICS PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking a Facilities Engineer to manage the cleanroom system, including ACMV, fan filter units, ionizers and building services, ensuring reliable operation.

You will monitor humidity, room pressurization, particulates, and ESD, lead containment actions when parameters drift, and coordinate maintenance, spares, vendor quotes, and permit-to-work approvals with production.

Responsibilities

• Manage facilities cleanroom system (ACMV, fan filter unit, ionizer, building services).
• Maintain relative humidity, room pressurization, particle counts, airborne contaminants and ESD within specs.
• Containment actions when parameters drift, followed by root cause analysis and CAPA.
• Analyze system performance and propose practical improvements for robustness.
• Follow up on maintenance plans and CMMS records, and schedule preventive maintenance.
• Plan and execute preventive & corrective maintenance and coordinate with vendors.
• Manage spare parts inventory systematically and handle quotations, sourcing, and invoicing.
• Oversee Permit-To-Work processes including risk assessments and approvals before works.

Job description

OUR ROLE

• To manage facilities cleanroom system comprising of ACMV (Make-up air, temperature control valve temperature, dry coil), fan filter unit, ionizer, building element.
• Work with the team to ensure cleanroom operating parameters such as relative humidity, room pressurization, particle, airborne molecular contaminant, ESD are within its specification.
• Urgency in executing containment action upon facilities operating parameters out of specification followed by root cause analysis, corrective and preventive action.
• Analyze system performance and capacity including propose reasonably practical engineering solutions for robustness improvement.
• Follow up on comprehensive maintenance plan and checklist thru Computerized Management Maintenance System.
• Plan and execute scheduled preventive & corrective maintenance.
• Manage Spare Part Inventory systematically.
• Prepare detail Request For Quotation, vendor sourcing, quotation evaluation, purchase requisition, service rendered evaluation and invoicing.
• Manage and coordinate with vendors for maintenance and projects.
• Manage Permit-To-Work application including reviewing Risk Assessment, Method Statement and other related documents. (Attend to critical interfacing to life system and get approval from production before start works)
