Job summary

Facade Today in Singapore seeks an experienced ACMV Facilities Engineer to oversee maintenance programs for HVAC systems across healthcare and other facilities. You will lead a team of technicians and coordinate with clients, consultants and vendors to ensure safety, compliance and service excellence.

You will diagnose faults, supervise inspections, produce technical reports and drive energy efficiency improvements, with a 5.5-day workweek and a focus on achieving client objectives and

• Minimum 5 years of experience in ACMV Trade or Facilities Management or project management
• Able to guide and troubleshoot ACMV faults

Responsibilities

• Assist Facilities Senior Manager/Manager in liaising with client on all works
• Ensure and oversee maintenance activities for ACMV systems including chiller and DX systems
• Lead technical investigations for rectification works and report root causes
• Track and report maintenance work, follow up on actions and maintain checklists
• Implement energy efficiency improvements and system innovations
• Provide feasible solutions coordinating with owners, users, consultants, vendors and contractors
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure maintenance programmes are implemented safely and effectively
• Prepare technical reports and proposals on breakdowns

Job description

• Please note that the work schedule for this position is 5.5 days/week.
• Assist Facilities Senior Manager / Manager in liaising with client on all works
• To ensure the maintenance programs and rectification jobs are manage by a Team of technical officers and technicians efficiently.
• Ensure and oversee maintenance activities for ACMV systems, including chiller system, chilled water system, DX system, mechanical ventilation system, clean room system, negative and positive room system, building management system and etc.
• Advice and lead the technical investigations for rectification works.
• Responsible for the daily AC thermal comfort are within acceptable limit as per code of practice.
• Tracking & reporting for maintenance work, follow-up on actions, and maintain maintenance checklists and schedules
• Implement efficiency improvement on the operational process, innovating and implementing systems improvement on energy conservation.
• Provide excellent service to meet client expectations.
• Providing feasible solution and coordinate with owners / users, consultants, vendors / contractors on engineering functional requirements and ensure the objectives are achieved.
• Conduct regular inspection of existing air-conditioning system to ensure that all maintenance programmes are implemented effectively in strict compliance with instructions and guidelines.
• To provide ACMV technical specifications for upgrade or renovation work when required.
• Familiar with local codes of practice, including but not limited to ASHRAE standards.
• To ensure all works carried out safely and / or in accordance with safety procedures.
• Liaise with contractors for rectification and/or ad-hoc works
• Investigate, analyse and determine root cause and report breakdowns and faults effectively
• Prepare technical reports and proposals on breakdowns

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or other Engineering equivalent
• Minimum 5 Years of experience in ACMV Trade or Facilities Management or project management (healthcare / non healthcare)
• Able to guide and troubleshoot ACMV faults.
• Good communication skills and positive mindset
• Meticulous, self-motivated, self-discipline, good communication skills and well-organized; and
• Has a good safety mindset and displays good WSH behaviour.
