Job summary

Micron Singapore is seeking a Facilities Electrical Engineer to lead engineering, maintenance, and strategic development of on-site electrical systems critical to semiconductor manufacturing. You will drive safety, reliability, and efficiency across HV to LV networks, mentor technicians, and deploy SMART power solutions and AI-enabled diagnostics to boost productivity.

Qualifications

Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent is required.
Experience with HV/MV/LV electrical systems design, maintenance, and operations in semiconductor or advanced manufacturing.
Proficiency in HV/MV/LV systems, ETAP software, and IEC standards; familiarity with SMART systems and predictive maintenance is advantageous.
Strong analytical, logical, and critical thinking skills.
Effective communicator and collaborative across all levels; growth mindset and willingness to learn.
Internship or experience in the semiconductor industry is a plus; leadership track record is desirable.
Interest in and knowledge of the semiconductor industry and Micron is preferred; knowledge of SPC and DOE is a bonus.

Responsibilities

Champion environmental, health, and safety compliance across all electrical operations.
Lead commissioning, maintenance, and optimization of electrical systems from 230kV to Low Voltage.
Provide expert support for complex issues and lead 8D root cause investigations.
Coordinate resource management, system performance analysis, and expansion projects.
Review scope, schedule, and cost estimates for infrastructure upgrades and provide design oversight.
Perform FMEA to improve system resilience and reduce single points of failure.
Mentor electrical engineers and technicians through structured training and on-site engagement.
Lead post-incident reviews and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Drive capacity expansion, reliability, and energy efficiency initiatives.
Lead deployment of SMART power systems, predictive diagnostics, and AI-enabled tools.
Integrate AI-assisted insights into daily work, ensuring responsible use and alignment with standards.
