Job summary

The National Environment Agency is seeking a motivated facilities management professional to join the Choa Chu Kang Operations Department. You will support the Senior Assistant Director in managing cemetery cleaning, facilities management, and arborist and landscaping contracts at Choa Chu Kang Cemetery.

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities management and operations leadership.
• Contract management experience and team leadership mandatory.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and adapt to changing priorities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage contractors and parties in facilities management to achieve maintainance standards.
• Oversee maintenance of equipment and machineries to ensure smooth operations.
• Coordinate contractors and manage contracts to ensure compliance with requirements.
• Track work progression and submit reports as scheduled.
• Collaborate with agencies and stakeholders on related works.
• Monitor PO issuance and payments to contractors/vendors.
• Conduct Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) meetings and toolbox talks.
• Address feedback from the public and stakeholders.
• Plan and participate in operations for special annual festivals.
• Review and monitor processes to improve productivity and service standards.
• Handle public feedback/appeals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
