Four Points by Sheraton Singapore, Riverview is seeking a Restaurant Supervisor to oversee the assigned station, ensuring quality service and efficient daily operations. You will lead the team, manage guest inquiries, and maintain cash and POS accuracy in a fast-paced hotel setting.
The role requires 2–3 years in F&B with at least 1 year in a supervisory role, strong leadership, and exceptional customer service skills. Flexibility for weekends, holidays, and night shifts is expected.
Oversee the assigned station and report directly to the Assistant Restaurant Manager and Restaurant Manager.
Assist managers in delegating daily and weekly tasks, ensuring they are carried out efficiently and thoroughly.
Ensure all fixtures and equipment are properly used, maintained, and in good condition. Conduct pre- and post-shift inspections to uphold the restaurant’s overall appearance.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the assigned station while contributing to the restaurant's overall hygiene and presentation.
Possess in-depth knowledge of the menu to confidently answer guest inquiries and make appropriate recommendations.
Present menus, explain dishes, and highlight daily specials to enhance the guest dining experience.
Accurately take guest orders, ensuring all details are correct before relaying them to the kitchen.
Proactively upsell side dishes, promotional items, and special offerings to maximize sales.
Participate in all assigned training sessions to uphold brand service standards and enhance professional skills.
Present bills to guests and process transactions in accordance with POS procedures and company policies, ensuring accuracy in payments and change handling.
Be well-versed in the wine list and beverage offerings, including proper glassware, garnishes, and service techniques for wines, beers, and mineral water.
Supervise proper table setups, mise en place, and service execution for the designated station.
Ensure accuracy and accountability for every guest check presented.
Monitor guest satisfaction, address concerns professionally, and report issues to management along with resolutions taken.
Immediately report any incidents or irregularities within the restaurant to the Assistant Restaurant Manager or Restaurant Manager
Perform additional duties as assigned by management to support smooth restaurant operations.
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a restaurant or hotel F&B operation, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
Strong leadership, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
In-depth knowledge of food and beverage service including menu items.
Ability to handle POS systems and manage cash/card transactions accurately.
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Must be flexible with work schedules, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
Must be able to work on Night Shift
