Job summary

PURE PALATE PTE. LTD. is seeking an F&B Service Executive in Singapore to supervise the service team and assist management in daily restaurant operations and service standards. You will ensure guests enjoy an exceptional dining experience while contributing to outlet targets.

Responsibilities include leading service staff, maintaining knowledge of menus, upselling where appropriate, handling guest feedback, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. 1+ year of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Certificate or Diploma in Hospitality or related field.
• At least 1 year of F&B service experience.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Good communication skills in English (spoken and written).
• Strong interpersonal and team leadership skills.
• Knowledge of Japanese cuisine is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the set-up and smooth running of assigned stations/sections in the restaurant.
• Supervise and support team members to consistently deliver high service and product standards.
• Provide attentive, personalised service — take orders accurately, promote menu offerings, and anticipate guest needs.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of the food, beverage, sake and wine menus, and upsell where appropriate.
• Record and update guest preferences in Sevenrooms to deliver personalised service.
• Ensure accurate order entry in the POS system, including seat positions and allergens.
• Handle guest feedback and minor complaints professionally, escalating to managers when required.
• Maintain cleanliness, tidiness and proper stocking of all stations and service areas.
• Conduct on-the-job training for colleagues and support new-hire orientation.
• Ensure compliance with hotel rules, food safety, hygiene and NEA regulations.
• Carry out opening, closing and side duties per established checklists.
