Job summary

Shangri-La Singapore is seeking a Service Associate - F&B Waitress (Valley Wing Summit Room) to join our hospitality team. You will support smooth service operations, engage guests, and uphold standards in a fast-paced luxury setting.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of waitress experience in hotels or restaurants, strong communication skills, and the flexibility to work shifts including weekends and holidays. Knowledge of food safety and hygiene is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a waitress in a hotel, restaurant, or similar setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and ensures smooth operations of the sections appointed
• Effective participation in co-coordinating and controlling departments
• Conducts regular tours of front and back of F&B operations to check on set-up / service / food quality / general maintenance / cleanliness
• Be updated of latest food knowledge and menu including seasonal changes in the menu
• Drive customer satisfaction and focus on building relationship with guests
• Maintains regular customer contact to obtain feedback / create future and potential clients
